New York Knicks TRADE Carmelo Anthony to OKC

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Carmelo Anthony trade is official.

The New York Knicks announced on Monday that they traded Anthony, a 10-time All-Star, to the Oklahoma City Thunder for center Enes Kanter, forward Doug McDermott and the Chicago Bulls’ 2018 second-round draft pick.

“This is a deal we feel works for both this franchise and Carmelo. We thank him for his seven seasons in a Knicks uniform and all that he accomplished off the court for the City of New York by using his platform to address social issues,” Knicks president Steve Mills said in a statement released by the team. “We will continue to focus on this team looking forward towards the immediate and long-term future. As we have said recently, this is a new beginning for the New York Knicks.”

The trade ends Anthony’s 6½-season tenure in New York. The Knicks had been talking to teams about an Anthony trade for several months, beginning under Phil Jackson’s presidency. The deal was agreed to on Saturday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, after Anthony, who has a no-trade clause, included the Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers on the list of teams to which he’d accept a trade.

“Thank you to All My Fans who supported me through Thick and Thin,” Anthony wrote in a letter to New York on his website. “And those who continued to support The Knicks regardless of the outcome. Thank You to Jim Dolan and the Knicks organization and all the hardworking people that don’t get the credit they deserve. And most importantly, Thank you to the City of New York for allowing me to represent OUR city.”

Both the Knicks and Anthony had hoped to complete a trade prior to NBA media day on Monday to avoid potential distractions surrounding ongoing trade talks involving Anthony, per sources.

Anthony, 33, now joins an Oklahoma City club featuring 2017 NBA MVP Russell Westbrook and All Star Paul George.

NBA Star Carmelo Anthony allegedly Got A Stripper Pregnant on wife Lala

Melo just taking L after L…
Should’ve just went to Chicago when he had the chance…

Word on the street is that Carmelo Anthony knocked up a stripper in NYC. The New York Knick apparently had been seeing this woman “often,” and now she’s allegedly claiming to be 6 & a half months pregnant.

Multiple sources tell us … the other woman often works at a gentlemen’s club in NYC, and we’re told she’s claiming to be 6 and a half months pregnant with Melo’s child.

We’re also told she has made it clear to Melo she expects him to kick in for medical expenses and other baby related costs.

Oddly, the sources claim the mistress’ pregnancy was not the deciding factor in their recent split, but La La is for sure PISSED. The pregnancy does pretty much guarantee any hopes of reconciliation are now dashed.

No word on the other factors that led to the split, but sources do say the couple has been on rocky terms for a while now.

NBA legend Charles Oakley Slaps Security Guards at Madison Square Garden

It was a crazy night at the Garden Wednesday, that saw a Knick legend hauled out of the arena by security, handcuffed and taken to jail in front of a stunned star-studded crowd just a few feet from Garden chairman James Dolan.

Charles Oakley, known for his physical style of play that made him an All-Star and helped the Knicks reach the NBA Finals in 1994, vehemently denied that he yelled at the Knick owner moments before being thrown out by several security guards.

Oakley told the Daily News moments after being released from Midtown South police station at around midnight that the Garden security asked him to leave because Dolan did not want him there.

“I was there for four minutes,” Oakley said late Wednesday night. “I didn’t say anything to him. I swear on my mother. They came over and wanted to know why I was sitting there. I bought the ticket. I said why do you guys keep staring at me. Then they asked me to leave. And I said I’m not leaving”

What followed next is the ugliest chapter yet in a rapidly deteriorating Knicks season, all on full display in front of a nationally televised audience and the league’s commissioner Adam Silver. Oakley was confronted by security, forcefully shoving one guard and appearing to strike another before he was physically removed from the stands.

However, sources at the Garden and police sources dispute Oakley’s account of the altercation, saying the scuffle was provoked by the former Knick yelling at his longtime nemesis Dolan.

Oakley was asked by several members of Garden security to leave, and then was seen shoving the swarming security guards – not far from tennis legend John McEnroe and with Dolan standing nearby in a maroon scarf.

Oakley was then escorted through the tunnel, taken to the floor by NYPD, and cuffed. According to police, Oakley was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault, one of criminal trespass. A source said that Oakley declined legal representation because he was only hit with a desk appearance ticket. He was released from the Midtown South precinct at around midnight by police and snuck out the back door and into a black SUV, avoiding the waiting press outside.
