Woman Dead And Child Hurt As Car Jumped The Curb On Roosevelt Blvd.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA – September 26, 2011 – A woman was killed and child

was injured after an accident on the Roosevelt Boulevard. It happened around

2:40 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of the Boulevard between Woodward

and Strahle streets. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was

taken to Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children and was undergoing surgery

for head injuries. The circumstances of this accident remain under investigation.
